7.TRANSFORMING faces

1.Load an image you want to transform.

2.Select “Statistics -> Transform”

3.Morphanalyser will prompt you twice to select two images, the source and the target, the difference of which will be applied to the face you want to transform. The directionality of the transform is determined by the order of the two images selected. For example, if you want to increase someone’s weight by using two prototypes of low and high BMI, you would need to select the low BMI prototype first. If, however, you want to decrease the weight of the face in question you would have to select the high BMI prototype first, then the low one.

4.Once you have selected the source and the target images, Morhpanalyser will ask you to indicate the amount of transfer. 0 - 1 represents 0 - 100%. Thus, 0.5 would be 50% and 2 would be 200%. Input the value and click OK.

5.Save the transformed file.

NOTE: the source and the target faces can be any .obj or .avg (average) files as long as all the images have been warped to the ‘standard face’.
