6. TEXTURE IDENTITY CHANGE
For each 3D face display, Morphanalyser uses two files - a shape (.obj) and a texture (.jpg) file that have the same name (e.g. ‘m_2179.obj’ & ‘m_2179.jpg’). It is possible to make Morphanalyser display any texture file onto any .obj file as long as the files used are from the set of faces all of which have been warped to the ‘standard face’. Thus, if you ever need to put a facial texture from person X onto person Y, you can do it by simply renaming the .jpg file of the X’s face to the name of Y. The same applies to texture files from average faces.
